HOW TO KEEP YOURSELF MOTIVATED

Salam..

In any journey, there will always be obstacle. Apatah lagi journey untuk menurunkan berat badan dan untuk menjadi lebih sihat dan fit. Cabaran dalaman dan cabaran luaran. Everyone will tell u the same thing : It will never be EASY, but it WORTH it.

So, how can u keep urself motivated? To make sure u reach your goal?

  1. Have a goal and make it happen.
-          Buat short term goal. Contoh, I want to lose 5kg in 2 months. Or, I want to be able to run 5km in 30mins. So you will work really hard to achieve that. For who? For your own satisfaction. That’s matter.

  1. Keep a journal.
-          Tiap minggu rekod kan berat dan ukuran badan. Kadang2 berat tak turun or naik, tapi ukuran badan berkurang (inchloss). Itu sebenarnya petanda baik sbb lemak2 dah berkurangan menyebabkan inchloss tersebut.

-          Journal akan mengingatkan kita, how far have u become. Bila turun 100gram saja, rasa stress n frust. Tapi bila tgk selama beberapa bulan dah turun 5-6kg, baru dpt balik semangat kan.. to reminds u it can be done and u’ve done it before.

  1. Carik kawan yang on the same journey. And ignore the negative friends.
-          This journey will certainly be easier if u have someone to talk to, someone yang sama2 makan oat time org lain mkn nasik, kawan yang akan ckp “alaa, xper klu termakan kfc harini, bulan ni tak bleh mkn lagi ye” hahaha kwn2 yang paham tak semua lemak itu berdosa, makan lemak sehat itu sehat. Kannn.. x ramai kawan yg paham apa yg ko sedang lalui.. melainkan dia penah lalu jalan yang sama. Seriously, klu seumo idupnya mmg kurus kering walaupon makan sampah, apa yg dia paham tentang betapa susahnya ko menahan diri dari nak makan nasik goreng ayam dan teh ais yang kau cintai itu? Memang takkan paham. Hehe

-          Kadang2, kawan yg kita dah kenal lama, akan jadi org pertama yg bagi komen negative. “diet? Ko biar benar.. boleh ker?” “eh, makan roti je ke?” “tayah ajak dia g lunch, dia kan diet” siap sindir lagi. Biarkan je. Lama2 diam la tu. Just prove to them, it will be worth it.

-          For me personally, I am just being lucky to meet soooo many beautiful n nice n honest friends yang sama journey to be healthy n fit. I was so inspired how they manage their hectic life and still can do daily workouts. How they are so slim but still working out everyday just to be fit and still enjoying their foods. How their life was so stressful but they still can smile and just workout. And how some of them been trying to lose their weight since 2-3 years ago and still doing it without any doubts. Alhamdulillah. Just being lucky to have them in my life. Yes, I am talking bout u.Thank you. hehe

  1. Simpan gambar lama dan baju lama.
-          There will be at certain point u feel like giving up because nobody said “ko nampak kurus la sekarang” even when u’ve been losing 5-10kgs. Itula gunanya gambar2 lama. Gambar “before”. Picture never lie. Bandingkan gambar terkini, 10kgs off will looks different. Baju bajan jugak akan rasa longgar. That’s an achievement my dear friend. U r on the right track.

oh yes.. u certainly will be motivated when u have this kind of "before" picca, yes?haha








  1. Don’t compare yourself with others, just be a better version of yourself.
-          Some people can be easily discourage bila kawan lain turun 2-3kg sehari.. dia plak seminggu turun 200gram jer??? Mana peginya keadilan?? Hahaha. Sebab tu jangan banding diri dengan orang. Ko just nak jadi diri sendiri je, tapi versi yg lebih baik. Lebih kurus, lebih sehat, lebih cantik, lebih curvy, lebih muscular.. tapi nama ko tetap Aminah binti Amin. Xkan jadi Jessica Alba punye. hehe

  1. Push yourself .. tapi jangan paksa diri.
-          Eh ckp push yourself tapi jangan paksa. Apa ni? Kena sentiasa memastikan diri kita dah buat yang terbaik. Tapi jangan paksa diri smpai ko tak mampu, nnti jadi cedera n sakit plak. This journey is supposed to be painful, but not to be hospitalized. Haha sentiasa berhati2. Klau ko tersasar, sentiasa kembali ke pangkal jalan. It easy to slip because it will be a sweaty road, just stand up and keep it going. Remember, 1 bad meal wont make u fat, so does 1 good meal wont make u skinny. Hehe

  1. Lastly, be SELFISH.
-          This is one thing I’ve learnt from my own experience. Be selfish. Pentingkan diri sendiri sebelum ko pikir pasal orang lain. Cari masa untuk diri sendiri, jangan asik nak jaga hati orang. They wont help you, you need to help yourself. So be selfish. Afterall, its all about you, not them.
